I have always been interested in drawing - it is a discipline of the mind. I seek to discover abstract shapes, accepting the subject's demands often touching different moods.

Her drawings are now regarded as one of the most distinctive bodies of graphic work in British 20th century art. They expressed her ‘seeing and sensing’ of the hidden dynamics of the world around her.
